Do motorhomes require a MOT test?
Motorhomes are generally required to have an annual MOT test once they are more than three years old. The MOT checks that your vehicle meets the required safety and environmental standards, so keeping up with regular servicing and maintenance is important.
Do you need a specific driving licence to drive a motorhome in the UK?
In the UK, if you passed your test after 1 January 1997, you can usually drive vehicles up to 3,500kg (Category B) whilst those over 3,500kg may require a Category C1. All Ace campervans and motorhomes can be driven on a standard Category B licence.
